Bad Internet Shopping Experience

I will never purchase from MPSuperstore.com again. I was looking to purchase a TV from their site (an LG 17 in LCD HDTV) on this site on Father's day (June 18) on their site with no indication that there would be a delay. Credit Card was charged almost immediately. I received a call the next day, trying to hard sell me on an extended warranty on the TV (which I declined), and every indication was that the TV would be delivered within a week to 10 days. A week went by, and no TV. I contacted the company to try get a tracking number, and they indicated that it had not shipped, and that they did not have any in stock and did not expect any until the 14th of July, if not earlier. I contacted them again July 11, and one representative told me that the TV had shipped the week of the 4th, and they transferred me to customer service to get a tracking number. No such tracking number, and no such TV. Still, they said they should have more in on July 14. Called again, July 14. Still back ordered. It may be 2 weeks, they say. I called on July 19 to cancel the order. I got a confirmation number and it was said that my card would be refunded by the end of the week. I received an email on July 22, saying the order was cancelled. It is now July 27, no refund to the card yet and they say it is still in process.

Their motto is like shopping in a park. I feel like I just tried to shop in Central Park.
